Marion is a retired Business Economist and also a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patient. After an accidental diagnosis on an electrocardiogram, she lived with this disease indifferently for years without knowing that it had wrong consequences and without seeking out a doctor with knowledge of the condition. When she found out, it was too late. And that is what drives her: what happened to her should not happen to others, due to lack of knowledge among patients and cardiologists.
